Possible Causes
Failed Wi-Fi/BLE module, Loose communication ribbon cable, Firmware corruption in connectivity module, Excessive RF interference at installation site
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Network issues are low-voltage, but still turn off power before unplugging internal modules.
- Step 1 – Reboot the Charger: Turn off the breaker for 2 minutes, then turn it back on. Wait for the charger to fully boot and check if E11 clears.
- Step 2 – Check Router Distance: Ensure the home Wi-Fi router is within reasonable range of the Chevrolet charger and not blocked by thick walls or metal objects.
- Step 3 – Re-pair in App: Use the Chevrolet EV or associated charger app to remove and re-add the charger, following the pairing instructions.
- Step 4 – Internal Cable Check: With power off, remove the cover and verify that the small ribbon or plug-in cable between the main PCB and the Wi-Fi/BLE module is fully seated.
- Step 5 – Module Replacement: If E11 persists and connectivity is required, the communication module may need replacement. Basic charging may still function without it.
