Possible Causes
Faulty Wi-Fi module on the control board, antenna cable disconnected or damaged, firmware corruption after an update, excessive RF interference at the installation site.
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Note: This error affects remote control and monitoring but may not always prevent charging.
- Power cycle: Turn off the charger at the breaker for 60 seconds, then restore power to reset the Wi-Fi module.
- Check antenna: Open the housing (power off) and verify that any external or internal antenna cable is firmly connected and not pinched or broken.
- Reset network settings: Use the physical reset button (if present) or follow the go-e app instructions to reset Wi-Fi settings and reconfigure the network.
- Reduce interference: Move Wi-Fi router closer or reduce obstacles. Avoid placing the charger directly behind metal surfaces that can shield the signal.
- Firmware reflash: If the module remains unresponsive, perform a firmware update via Ethernet (if available) or service tools. If still faulty, replace the control board.
