Possible Causes
A faulty internal Wi‑Fi module, an antenna connection issue, corrupted network firmware, or excessive interference or a very weak signal at the charger location.
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Note: This error usually affects connectivity and smart scheduling, not basic charging safety.
- 1. Check router and internet: Confirm your home Wi‑Fi and internet connection are working. Reboot the router if needed.
- 2. Signal strength: In the Ohme app, check the reported signal strength (if available). If low, consider moving the router, adding a Wi‑Fi extender, or using a different band (2.4 GHz is usually preferred).
- 3. Power-cycle charger: Turn off the charger at the isolator for 1 minute, then back on. Wait several minutes for the network module to reconnect.
- 4. Reconfigure Wi‑Fi: Use the Ohme app to forget and re-add the charger to your Wi‑Fi network, following the pairing instructions.
- 5. Firmware update: If the app offers a firmware update, apply it and then recheck connectivity.
- 6. Persistent E13: If the charger cannot connect despite strong Wi‑Fi and correct credentials, the internal Wi‑Fi module or antenna may be faulty and require replacement.
