E01
The ice maker will not power on; the display is blank, with no lights or sounds.
Main Power Supply or Control Board Failure
E02
The ice maker powers on but does not start ice production; the compressor and fan remain off.
Start-up Sequence or Low Voltage Supply Fault
E03
The ice maker runs, but no water enters the evaporator tray, and no ice is formed.
Water Inlet Valve or Water Supply Failure
E04
The ice maker displays E04 and stops mid-cycle; water remains in the sump or tray.
Drain Pump or Drain Line Fault
E05
E05 is displayed, ice production stops, and water overflows or the level is incorrect in the reservoir.
Water Level Sensor or Float Switch Error
E06
E06 error is displayed, the ice maker stops, and ice is thin, misshapen, or not releasing properly.
Evaporator Temperature Sensor (Thermistor) Fault
E07
E07 displayed, unit runs but ice bin remains empty, harvest cycle does not complete.
Ice Bin Full Sensor or Infrared Beam Fault
E08
E08 error, compressor runs continuously but ice production is very slow or stops.
Condenser Temperature or High-Pressure Fault
E09
E09 displayed, unit stops, loud clicking or humming from the compressor area.
Compressor Start Failure or Overload Trip
E10
E10 error, unit stops during harvest, ice sticks to the evaporator and will not drop.
Harvest Cycle or Hot Gas Valve Fault
E11
E11 displayed, water pump does not circulate water over the evaporator, no ice formation.
Circulation Pump Failure
E12
E12 error, display works but buttons do not respond or respond intermittently.
User Interface Keypad or Touch Panel Failure
E13
E13 displayed, unit beeps and shuts down shortly after start, internal temperature reading is incorrect.
Cabinet / Ambient Temperature Sensor Fault
E14
E14 error, unit overfills or underfills with water, inconsistent ice thickness.
Ice Thickness Sensor or Probe Fault
E15
E15 displayed, unit shuts down with water present in the base pan or a leak detected.
Leak Detection or Overflow Switch Activation
E16
E16 error, unit in cleaning mode fails to complete, cleaner or rinse water remains.
Cleaning Cycle or Rinse Valve Fault
E17
E17 displayed; internal fan runs but compressor does not; unit reports refrigerant or pressure fault.
Low Refrigerant or Sealed System Fault (Detected by Control)
E18
E18 error: communication failure between display board and main control board.
Communication Bus or Control Board Link Fault
E19
E19 displayed: unit reports high ambient temperature or overheat condition and shuts down.
Overtemperature Protection Activation
E20
E20 error: unit indicates defrost or de-ice fault, with heavy frost buildup on the evaporator.
Defrost / De-Ice Heater or Cycle Fault (for models with active defrost)
Symptom
Buttons on the control panel stick or require excessive force to operate.
Mechanical Keypad Wear or Contamination
Symptom
Display is dim, flickering, or segments are missing, but the unit still runs.
Display Module Degradation
Symptom
Frost or ice buildup on the outside of the ice bin or around the door.
Condensation and Air Leak Issue
Symptom
Ice bin overflows with ice; ice keeps being produced even when the bin is full.
Bin Full Detection Failure
Symptom
Ice maker emits a burning or electrical smell during operation.
Overheating Electrical Component
Symptom
Ice maker emits a musty, moldy, or sour odor from the ice or interior.
Biological Contamination / Poor Sanitation
Symptom
Ice maker is leaking water onto the floor from underneath.
External Water Leak
Symptom
Ice maker is very noisy during operation (grinding, rattling, or buzzing).
Mechanical Noise / Vibration Fault
Symptom
Ice maker makes a loud knocking or banging sound during harvest.
Harvest Mechanism or Ice Release Impact Noise
Symptom
Ice maker produces hollow or very thin ice cubes/slabs.
Insufficient Water Fill or Premature Harvest
Symptom
Ice maker produces ice, but production is very slow compared to normal.
Reduced Ice Production / Capacity Loss
Symptom
Ice maker produces very large, thick ice slabs that jam or do not break properly.
Excessive Ice Thickness / Overfill
Symptom
Ice maker runs but produces no ice at all (no error code displayed).
General No-Ice Production Fault
Symptom
Ice maker starts then shuts off after a short time with no error code.
Intermittent Power or Overheat Shutdown
Symptom
Ice maker will not start at all, but the display lights up and responds.
Start Inhibit / Safety Interlock Condition
Symptom
Ice melts quickly in the bin, or the bin area feels unusually warm.
Poor Bin Insulation or Warm Air Infiltration
Symptom
Ice tastes bad (chemical, metallic, or plastic taste).
Water Quality or Contamination Issue
Symptom
The unit trips the household circuit breaker when it starts.
Overcurrent or Short Circuit Condition
Symptom
The unit vibrates excessively and moves or "walks" during operation.
Excessive Vibration / Installation Issue
Symptom
Water is pooling inside the ice bin or around the evaporator area.
