E01
Pump will not start, display shows E01 immediately after power-on
Undervoltage / Supply Power Fault
E02
Pump trips to E02 shortly after starting, motor hums then stops
Overcurrent / Motor Overload Protection
E03
Pump stops and displays E03 after running for several minutes; the housing feels very hot.
Motor Overtemperature / Thermal Protection Trip
E04
The display shows E04 and the pump will not start, sometimes after a power outage.
Phase Loss / Phase Failure (Three-Phase Models)
E05
The pump display shows E05, will not run, often after wiring changes.
Phase Reversal / Incorrect Rotation (Three-Phase Models)
E06
The pump stops with E06, sometimes accompanied by a loud click from the control box.
Earth Fault / Ground Fault Detected
E07
The pump display shows E07 and the motor does not start, often after lightning or surges.
DC Bus Overvoltage / Surge Protection Trip (Drive Models)
E08
The pump runs briefly then stops with E08, especially under heavy load.
Undervoltage / Brownout During Operation
E09
The pump display shows E09, will not start, and the keypad is unresponsive at times.
Control Panel / Keypad Communication Fault
E10
The pump stops with E10; water flow is very low or zero.
Dry-Run / No-Flow Protection Activated
E11
The pump display shows E11, runs only at a fixed speed or not at all under external control.
External Control Signal Fault (Analog/Digital Input Error)
E12
The pump shows E12 and stops, often when ramping up to a higher speed.
Motor Stall / Locked Rotor Detection
E13
Pump display shows E13, runs erratically, or not at all.
Internal Drive Fault / Self-Diagnostics Error
E14
Pump shows E14, speed fluctuates, sometimes accompanied by humming.
Motor Feedback / Speed Sensor Error (if equipped)
E15
Pump display shows E15, will not start, often after long idle periods.
Motor Insulation / Leakage Current Alarm
Symptom
Pump cannot be primed after being drained for winterization.
Difficult Re‑Priming / Air Lock
Symptom
Pump emits a high‑pitched squeal or screech when running.
Dry Mechanical Seal or Failing Bearing
Symptom
Pump hums but does not start, then trips the overload or breaker.
Locked Rotor / Failed Start
Symptom
Pump is very noisy, with a loud grinding or rumbling sound during operation.
Worn Motor Bearings / Mechanical Wear
Symptom
Pump makes a loud rattling or clattering noise, especially at high flow.
Cavitation / Hydraulic Noise
Symptom
Pump motor casing shows signs of rust or corrosion, especially near the base and terminal box.
Environmental / Corrosion Damage
Symptom
Pump motor emits a burning smell or visible smoke during operation.
Severe Motor Overheating / Winding Failure
Symptom
Pump runs but filter pressure is very high, and return jets are weak.
System Overpressure / Discharge Restriction
Symptom
Pump runs but flow is weak, and pressure at the filter gauge is low.
Reduced Hydraulic Performance / Partial Blockage
Symptom
Pump runs but makes a clicking or knocking noise once per revolution.
Impeller or Foreign Object Contact
Symptom
Pump runs but makes a low electrical buzzing noise, and performance is erratic.
Electrical Noise / Loose Laminations or Coils
Symptom
Pump runs but pool circulation is poor, and water clarity deteriorates.
Under‑Circulation / Incorrect Run Time or Speed
Symptom
Pump runs but there is no water flow; the strainer pot does not fill.
Loss of Prime / Air-Locked Suction
Symptom
Pump runs but trips the house RCD/GFCI intermittently.
Earth Leakage / Nuisance Tripping
Symptom
Pump runs but water in the pump housing appears milky or full of tiny bubbles.
Air Entrapment / Micro‑Bubbles
Symptom
Pump runs, but there is a noticeable electrical tingling when touching metal pool components.
Potential Bonding / Earthing Issue (Stray Voltage)
Symptom
Pump speed changes unexpectedly or does not follow the programmed schedule.
Control / Programming Issue
Symptom
Pump starts but stops after a few minutes; the motor feels very hot to touch.
Thermal Overload Trip (Mechanical or Electrical Overheating)
Symptom
Pump starts normally but shuts off when a pool cleaner or additional load is connected.
Overload Under Increased Hydraulic Load
Symptom
Pump vibrates excessively, causing pipes to shake and noise to transmit through the system.
Excessive Vibration / Imbalance
Symptom
Pump will not start at all; no hum, no display on the control.
No Power / Dead Pump
Symptom
Water leaking from around the transparent pump lid.
Lid Seal / O‑Ring Leakage
Symptom
Water leaking from the threaded or union connections on the suction or discharge side.
Union / Pipe Joint Leakage
Symptom
Water leaking steadily from the joint between the motor and pump housing.
Mechanical Seal Failure
