Possible Causes
Weak Wi-Fi signal at charger location, Incorrect Wi-Fi credentials, Faulty Wi-Fi/Ethernet module, Router blocking outbound connections
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Network troubleshooting does not require opening the unit; keep mains power on unless otherwise necessary.
- Check local LEDs: Verify that the charger’s status LEDs indicate normal standby (consult the manual). If the unit is powered but offline in the app, the issue is network-related.
- Verify Wi-Fi signal: Use a smartphone at the charger location to check Wi-Fi strength. If weak, move the router closer or install a Wi-Fi extender.
- Re-enter credentials: In the Wallbox app, forget the charger’s network and reconfigure Wi-Fi settings, ensuring the correct SSID and password.
- Router settings: Ensure that the router is not blocking the charger’s MAC address and that outbound ports required by Wallbox cloud services are open.
- Ethernet test (if available): If the model supports Ethernet, temporarily connect via cable to rule out Wi-Fi hardware issues. If Ethernet works but Wi-Fi does not, the Wi-Fi module may be defective.
If the charger remains offline after network checks, the communication module or main board may require replacement by a technician.
