Possible Causes
Weak Wi-Fi signal at dock, Router channel congestion, Antenna connection loose, Wi-Fi module aging
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure the robot is on the dock and has adequate charge while troubleshooting connectivity.
- 1. Improve signal: Move the dock closer to your router or install a Wi-Fi extender near the dock location.
- 2. Change router channel: Log into your router and switch to a less congested 2.4 GHz channel.
- 3. Re-add robot to app: Remove the robot from the app and perform a Wi-Fi reset, then add it again.
- 4. Avoid 5 GHz-only networks: Ensure the SSID you connect to is 2.4 GHz compatible.
- 5. If dropouts continue at close range: The internal Wi-Fi antenna or module may be loose or failing and may require main board service.
