Possible Causes
Weak Wi-Fi signal at dock location, Incorrect Wi-Fi password, Unsupported Wi-Fi band (5 GHz only network), Faulty internal Wi-Fi module
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: No electrical disassembly is required for basic checks.
- 1. Check Wi-Fi network: Ensure your router is broadcasting a 2.4 GHz network, as many Electrolux robots do not support 5 GHz only.
- 2. Move dock closer to router: Temporarily place the charging dock closer to the router to improve signal strength during setup.
- 3. Verify credentials: Double-check the Wi-Fi password and SSID entered in the Electrolux app. Avoid special characters if the app has issues.
- 4. Restart router and robot: Power cycle your router and the robot, then retry the pairing process, following the app instructions.
- 5. Reset network settings: Use the robot’s buttons or app to perform a network reset (refer to the user manual). Then attempt setup again.
- 6. If E14 persists: The internal Wi-Fi module or antenna may be defective. This typically requires replacement of the Electrolux Wi-Fi module or main control board by a service technician.
