Possible Causes

Robot offline from Wi-Fi, Changed router SSID or password, Hoover cloud service issue, Faulty Wi-Fi module

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: No internal work is required.

  • Check Wi-Fi status: In the Hoover app, verify whether the robot is shown as online. Check the Wi-Fi indicator on the robot, if present.
  • Reconnect Wi-Fi: Put the robot into Wi-Fi setup mode and re-add it to the app with the correct network credentials.
  • Router settings: Ensure 2.4 GHz is enabled and that AP isolation is disabled so the phone can see the robot.
  • Test local control: Try controlling the robot while on the same Wi-Fi network. If it still fails, the Wi-Fi module or main PCB may be faulty and require service.
