How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Note: Time is managed via the Relay and cloud; the thermostat itself does not keep precise time long-term.
- Verify internet: Ensure the Relay has internet access by checking for 'NO_INTERNET' or 'NO_WIFI' errors and resolving them.
- Check time zone: In the Netatmo Energy app, confirm your home’s time zone and daylight saving settings are correct.
- Router settings: Ensure your router does not block NTP or outbound UDP traffic required for time synchronization.
- Reboot Relay: Power-cycle the Relay to force a new time sync attempt.
If the time remains incorrect despite a working internet connection and correct time zone, contact Netatmo support; a backend issue may be present.
